ibook to external dvi lcd?

ive got my ibook hooked up to my dell 2001fp via the vga adaptor, but is there a dvi adaptor for the new ibooks?

id like to keep it digital, the dell lcd looks like ass with the d-sub connector, not sure why.

i couldnt find one on apples site anywhere
 
It looks like ass because the max resolution via the vga out is 1024x768. Not even close to the native of the Dell panel.
 
Actually, there's a firmware hack for newer iBooks that lets you do screen spanning (not just mirroring), and the second output can be up to 1280x1024. I don't know what the native on your Dell panel is, but this might be closer. Google for Screen Spanning Doctor.

There is no hardware DVI out solution for the iBooks, the video card simply doesn't do it.
 
i can drive my panel at 1600x1200, the vga out just looks like complete ass tho, damn.

powerbook time, heh.
