I don't know my way around iMovie 08 very well, but I am quite distressed at the possibility that it lost my footage. I imported footage from a vacation and it went into the bottom half of the program. I created an event for it but I had not started actually making my video yet. A week or so later I imported some new video. When I opened up iMovie today, there was no footage in the import area. When I click on my events, no footage appeared.
What happened? I was able to find some of the video in the movie folder in Users but it's not nearly all of it? Why would iMovie just remove all of my imported video from itself?
The bad part about this is that I have no way of re-importing that video.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
