Seeing the XPS2 in that video really makes it look like it's got a smaller, sleeker size than other 17" notebooks.

I think you are absolutely right. I had a 17" Toshiba with a 2.8GHz P4 2 years ago and man that thing was a large brick compared to my 9300. I cant believe the weight of this machine for a 17" notebook. It is light!
