Instagram Photos Will No Longer Appear In Twitter Streams

For all of you Twitter Twits out there, it has been confirmed by Instagram that Twitter card functionality has been turned off and photos will no longer be viewable on Twitter. The move could be based on future plans for Instagram since the company’s purchase by Facebook.

Instagram confirms Twitter cards have been turned off. This is the end of viewing Instagram photos in any fashion within Twitter streams, on both mobile and desktop.

Pretty disappointing, it's much nicer to use when you can just click one thing within Twitter and see the image instead of clicking it and opening a new tab at a different website.
