Installing new RAM

Yes and make sure you install them according to your motherboard manual so dual channel gets enabled correctly. You might need to install theback to back or 1 in slot one and 1 in slot 3 etc.

40gb WD HD
200gb maxtor
 
yup, just do this:

turn off computer, unplug psu
pop out battery, switch bios clear jumper
take out old ram
put in new ram
move jumper back, put battery in
turn on :D
