Alright. I have no idea where to put this, so, I'll put it here.
I have a Toshiba Satellite M45-S331. I have all standard drivers from their website. I have an S-Video cable attached to the S-Video out port at the rear of the laptop. It then connects to my TV.
With the Intel GMA910/915 drivers installed, it will not set the resolution to anything remotely near what a standard def TV would be (640 x 480?). The lowest it would set a secondary display to was 800 x 600. I tried a combination of order and settings within the driver to get it to work, to no avail. Reinstalling drivers did not help, google surely didn't help and I'm at a loss on how to get my damn S-Video to display back to my television.
If it matters : I'm running Mediaportal with a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR usb2 trying to display the content back to the television.
