Internet access blocking program.

Hi,

I never thought I would ask this question but finally my daughter is at the age that need internet access for her school. If you have kids, you know what my question is. What would be best program to block all internet access except the ones I let my daughter to use?

Good suggestion.

Another would be modifying the hosts file on her PC (assuming she is young enough to not know how to reverse this or bypass it...) to point all hostnames except the ones you want to 127.0.0.1. That way they're blocked for her but not you. Remember though that that can be bypassed by using the IPs manually, if she can get a hold of them.

In Vista and Win7 the parental controls can do this easily.

Wonder if you could set 0.0.0.0 to 127...
