iPod-cd player etc?

Hey i was wondering how i could hook up my ipod to my sound sytem in my room, i have a 4th gen 20 gb one if htat matters at all.

All you need is a cable with a standard stero plug (one that fits in the iPod) in one end and standard audio connections in the other end (the split one, what's it called? RCA?).

nope just a Y audio cable.....

Just plug the small end into your iPod headphone jack, and the stereo cables into the input where you want to play the audio.
