Is GPU in A10-6800k faster than x1900

Old friend has an AIW X1900 in his PC (e7200 CPU Core Duo) and he wanted to upgrade to something a bit faster. I recommended AMD A10-6800k. Will the A10's GPU be faster in general than a dedicated, but old-school x1900? He mostly plays flash based games on facebook, and the current CPU is pegging at ~90% for both cores. Wanted to give him a bit more "umpf" for as little $$$ as possible.

I got Microcenter in town, so the CPU/Mobo combos are what I was looking at.

I am pretty sure it would blow the x1900 out of the water

flash games hardly run on the gpu at all so whether the x1900 or 8670 is more powerful is moot. flash games are multi threaded so there will be a boost from dual core to quad. additionally, the 6670 in the a10 6800k (its just been renamed) isn't significantly more powerful than the x1900.

It's a comparison between HD6670 and HD3870.
6670 (whats in A10 APU) is at times twice as fast as HD3870.
Dug up some old rage3d forum thread (http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?t=33912320) where a consensus is that HD3870 is about 50~65% faster than x1900.....

This pretty much tells me that I'll be ditching x1900 all-together in his new PC.

Easily quicker, pair it with some faster ram for better results since that's where the biggest bottleneck on those things is.
