Is the Fractal Design R3 black Dead ??

I need a new case and I decided on this case. I then go to newegg to try and buy it but its discontinued.

Is this case dead?
Anyone know if a replacement or update to the case is coming ?

Newegg restock on Fractal Design has always been really slow for some reason.

It seems a bit odd NCIX is also out of stock and Google Shopping isn't showing much. The R3 case is a few years old. Computex is coming up in a few days, so there may be a tiny chance a successor is in the works and is about to be announced, assuming Fractal is attending. Try e-mailing Fractal to see what's up, they're known to be good about answering stock questions like these back in the days before NE even had Fractal cases listed.

It really sucks as I build a computer with the R3 mini and I love the computer.

I need to build another machine so I think now Im going to try the Antec P280 ........

Ever, what MC are you near? The one closest to myself (St. Davids Philly area) has 5 in stock however only In-Store pickup.

Edit: I see you are on the left coast in the Santa Clara area. You may be able to see if the MC in OC can ship it out to you (they have 6 in stock according to site).
