As some may have seen I'm looking for a new PSU. I'm over at ThermalTakes website looking at PSUs and I see this: "NVIDIA QUAD-SLI Certified" next to a 650W power supply. Now my question is, how can they claim this when the power supply only has one 6pin PCI-E connector and one 8pin PCI-E connector?
Are there nvidia cards that have 2 GPUs on them that only require one 6pin connector? Because if not, then how can ThermalTake claim that their W0104RU 650W power supply is infact "NVIDIA QUAD-SLI Certified"?
I'm more just curious about this than anything. Thanks for anybody that can answer this scratch I have.
