Is this a good A200 deal? Can I find an XTi deal comparable?

So Sony is running a promo for the A200 via their Sony Rewards system, and my sister is looking for an entry-level DSLR. She originally liked the XTi, but I'm guessing she won't be too picky if the price is right.

Here is the deal:

Sony Alpha A200K $337.00 with free shipping. Comes with A200 body and 18-70mm lens. MSRP on Amazon is $499

So, I need your expert opinions! Is this a lukewarm/hot/smoking hot deal? Can I expect to find a Canon XTi kit for similar cost?

Give me your advice and I will run with it!

I use an a300 and like it very much, but I'm not an expert so I didn't want to give my opinion.

It seems like a very good price though.

check your local circuit city for some cameras. i picked up a Sony Alpha 300 for 40% off.

it's a good camera but doesn't have LiveView if that's important (the XTi does, Sony's equivalent would be the A300 or A350).
