lite-on sohw-812s will only burn @ 2.4x and is 8x capable with dvd+r

nd-3520a will only burn @ 4x and is 16x capable with dvd+r

using ridata 16x dvd+r media...


using nero 6.6.0.14
 
sorry using win xp home and also the lite-on will only read @ 8x and is 16x capable... really frustrated ATM... thanks for any help/advice!
 
Also check in properties if they have reverted back to PIO mode. Sometimes Windows likes to play a trick on you and just switch back from DMA.
