iTunes counter on Apple website.

So what happens when the counter reaches 500,000,000? I noticed its starting to slow down, it was counting much faster a few days ago. Just wondering if anything big might be happening when it reaches the big 500,000,000?


edit: I need to buy me some apple stock :(
