I've been off this forum for quite some time (grad school and a new hobby), but I've still been folding. I just put in work unit 1,111 and broke one million points.

Go me!!

So I run the GPU on my 8800GTX and a single SMP via SUSE x64 with VMWare. I was thinking of running another SMP in Windows. I know it's not as efficient as VM, or at least it wasn't when I last checked, but it would save me some system resources and it would be easier to put on pause when I wanted to use the CPU for other things. I see there are two windows SMP's now; which one should I use?

Specs are pretty much as in my sig; I'm talking about on the gaming rig.

Congratulations on the million milestone! Great effort!

As far as the type of SMP client to use, most of the posts I've read seem to point to the MPICH version to be better overall, easier to install and more productive. I've never used the Deino version myself, but others who have did not seem to like it.

Nice to see you drop by. Congrats on the Million!

Congrats!
