I need to install the Java SDK, I currently have the JRE only installed.
When I attempt to uninstall the JRE, I get the error "Error 1327.Invalid Drive: Q:\" where Q is an old volume I used to have installed. It was used for storage and I don't recall ever telling Java to do anything involving it. I assume it picked it up from Windows...anyway, attempting to just install the SDK over it provides a similar error.
So, how do I get the JRE off my system, in spite of the fact that it doesn't want to go, so I can comfortably install the SDK? Please say it doesn't involve scouring the registry...
