JPEG compression for lots of photos?

I'm currently putting a bit of stress on my current webhost by hosting a ton of large (400k) images that are uncompressed. Does anybody know of a program that automate the compression process, to get the images to a good small filesize?

If you mean automate it from the server end, no.

If you mean to batch process the images to make their file sizes smaller, IrfanView is a great little freeware graphics program that fits the bill.
