Hey all, I have a 60 gb samsung spinpoint hdd. pretty damn old too but it works fine. however I got to format it for linux forgetting that it has 2 sets of jumpers on the back. I go to format...format fails, im thinkin wtf? I go look at back of hard drive to see if there was some ata lock setting or something. look at the jumper settings there is a setting Master slave CS for these three separate condition. Jumper settings for (upper 32gb) , (lower 32gb), and (32gb clip ) is there a setting or firmware i can get to let me address the whole drive as a whole
