I have a Q6600 at 8*400 = 3.2
I have a Thermaltake Saprano.
I removed the plastic part off the front of the case, so it's like a metal skeletal structure and the 120 MM fan seems to be pushing tons more air.
I just found my coretemps surprising.
It's 73*F in this room
My CPU is at 1.225V
Core 1 : 21*C
Core 2 : 25*C
Core 3 : 21*C
Core 4 : 25*C
Before they were about 10*C higher. I am really quite amazed.......................... Just wondering if these are good idle air temps for the q6600 at 3.2. Xigmatek Heatsink.
P.S., I set the T.j Max to 90*C as rated by intel, for G0 stepping.
Maybe I should push for 3.6 since winter is coming... finally.
