I just picked this beauty up from my buddy and all I can say is WOW..one of the most beautiful monitor I've seen and used in many many years! I will be posting some pics this weekend. In the meantime if you guys have any questions, please feel free to ask me. SInce I am not a pro reviewer without any caliberation tool, I am going to just play some games, WMVHD movies, DVDs to test its ability.

No, all L220X are S-PVA panels. Lenovo themselves confirmed that there has been no panel switch whatsoever.

There is only one panel at 1920x1200 at 22" and that's this one, which is S-PVA.

There are no TNs at this size and resolution.

In fact, it is the first 22" S-PVA monitor in existence.

102.92 DPI only slightly more than a 30" 100.63 DPI, but finer than a 24" 94.34 DPI that some consider borderline for normal text. But reading is over-rated anyways.;)

Subscribed for pics!
Use the search, luke.

As for text size higher than antique resolution laptop screens are around 120-130dpi so if those aren't problematic neither should this Lenovo be.

CMO has a 22" TN panel with 1920x1200 resolution... I don't think it has been used in any monitors yet though.

Samsung's new 22" WUXGA monitor uses it, upper edge is clearly darker:

Rather ironical how Samsung, maker of all S-PVA panels uses TNs made by others instead of their own panel!

A 24" is borderline for me, borderline oversized pixels that is. Some people need to visit the optometrist.

For years I ran 1600x1200 on 19" CRT (which are really 18") and I ran with normal windows font sizes. Anything less than than 100dpi looks chunky and pixelated to me.

Looks like availability might be getting better because now importer has 30 of these even in stock (should mean orders have been deducted from it) here in Finland.

Or keep monitor closer than other end of room.
Viewing distance has equal effect to apparent pixel size.

InputLag ~58ms
Input lag just isn't measured by scope but by taking comparison photographs against CRT. (at native resolution, otherwise scaling causes additional lag)
And that's ~30ms as average from 18 photos taken by one user who got L220x in January.

I guess I should chime in. I got the monitor yesterday from Lenovo as a review sample, and hey, I'm loving it. It honestly looks closer to a CRT than any other display I've seen, without the annoyances.

So, just joining the club. :)
