keyboard problem

my keyboard is like 4 years old. i wanted to clean it so i took it all apart took all the keys off and cleaned everything. i put it all back togeather and now when i type it randomly shoots the cursor back to the start of the line.

also when i start the computer up it wont start untill i press all the keys on the keyboard a few times then it boots fine. it is like some key gets stuck down. i cant figure out what key it is that would cause the cursor shoot back the start of the line. if i knew what it was try and fix it. i took it apart again and made sure everything linged up just right.

any idea what key could be causing this?

sounds like the home button for one but I suspect more keys are at fault. sounds like your first time cleaning one. it can be tricky and requires a great deal of care depending on the keyboard. remove most keys and start adding a few at a time to test. it shouldn't be too hard to figger out the bad ones

if the keys have the small bars under the bigger keys they could be impropery seated...
