Laing ddc pump not moving/pumping water

Hi i have a Laing ddc pump and notice it no longer pumps and moves water around my loop after i flushed and added new coolant.

any ideas? the pump makes the usual whiny hiss noise and i can see it working and functioning but the water on my reservoir is not moving at all.

the reservoir is connected directly to the pump ie, pump > res > rad > cpu > pump.

any ideas?

Move the pump/res around, or your tubes, or your rad, etc. You might have a big air pocket that's pressurized somewhere and not budging.

Put the reservoir before the pump.

Yeah, so, you should always put your res before your pump. Also, if your pump is at the bottom, it's working against gravity to pump water up to your reservoir.

That doesn't matter really. The pump has to be after the res. If not, you're just pushing the water back up into the res, effectively doing nothing.

its working now, switched it around and kept turning pump on and off
