Is there really that bug of a difference between the Intel pentium M 740 and the 750? is it really worth 100 dollars more for teh 750?

only 100mhz no bus speed difference, same everything else. I wouldn't pay the xtra bucks. I myself have a 730 (1.60Ghz) and its great. Good luck with your decisison.

1.7ghz should be plenty. save the 100$ and upgrade something else, like RAM or HDD.

yea, Im gonna get a 80GB HDD instead of the 750 and stick with the 740
