Laptops troubles!

Ok I got a 4 year old laptop I just dont want to give up on. It turns out that one day it broke, and Ive tried almost everything. But I thought i try it again and somethin new came that up on the boot screen that said this

fatal error reading from hardisk save to disk feature is disabled

Could be a bad hard drive. Telling us the make/model would help out as well.

Yeah - that error makes it sound like there is a problem with the hard disk - just a guess here though. Might want to get a professional opinion.

From what Its an old AMS and 90 mhz 16mb ram plays doom 2 like a dream
