Hey All....
I have a dell latitude d600 running XP Pro. Im trying to get my gps to communicate with streets and trips. My gps is hooked up through the com port on the latitude. I know the gps is outputting data because it works great on my desktop, and i can see the data coming in when i view it in hyperterminal. On my laptop however it does not work. I can not view any incoming data in hyperterminal. I have tried changing the com port setting in bios (the only option it gives me is com port 1-4). I have also disabled the internal modem and IR. I have also changed the IRQ settings in system for the port to several different configs. All this to no avail. Any light on this situation would be greatly appriciated!
