I just ordered a 19" LCD, its coming tom.

however I cant get home until 2 PM, and it'll eb delivered before then so it will be sitting on my door step for hours.... the problem is that tom its going to be 20 F

am I screwed? should I leave a note for the fed-ex guy?

(I dont have any coolers large enough to put it in, otherwise I'd stick a few hot-packs in there)

I would say it will be OK as long as you let it warm up slowly for a few hours before trying to use it.

If you can wait for a little while like an hour or two i could go put my monitor in my freezer and see what happens, its a 19" dell

Just let it sit in your house for a few hours before opening it. You might even want to wait a day if you can...

I can let it sit for a while, I'm not in a rush I just want to make sure theres no long lasting damage

Don't have to sign for delivery?

Anyways....you think it's not cold sitting in that truck for hours/days? It should be fine.

I think it will be fine..FWIW..I have LCD screens in my car and its been 10-15 degrees lately where I live and they work fine.Albeit a little slow to respond till they warm up..

good good, I just remember ed how cold it was going to be and freaked out a bit
