I have a Linksys WUSB54GP 802.11G wireless adapter sitting around and I was wondeirng if it is possable to use with Kismac at all and if it is, if it can go into passive mode.

yeah, goto prefernces > driver, in the middle of the windows there is a pulldown, hit "USB device with prisim 2 chipset" and hit add, works for me on a linksys usb stick
