Little variance between my idle and load temp- any ideas on why?

Here's my rig:

Chaintech 9cjs mobo
2.8 prescott @ 3.0 (going higher soon)
1 Gig PC4000 hyper-x
9800 pro 128 mb (going to 6800gt thurs)
Aerocool heatpipe heatsink with two tornadoes at variable speeds
Using apogee to monitor temps

Here's my deal: my proc is never cooler than 50 C at idle, but also never goes over 56 C at load (looping 3dMark 2001 to test). The idle temp is high but it never spikes when under load- whether it's video editing, gaming, anything. Any insights as to why or if this normal? And please, no "you're a noob" comments.

I don't think its an issue. My comp is always, at idle, 10*C higher than the case temp, and load only goes up 2-4*C. Then again, I think with 6 120mm fans at 103cfm each helps alot.

Just to support Heleron it is perfectly normal. I only differ about 3*C.

Thanks for the replies- so far today I've OC'd it up to 3.1 and going for 3.2 by the end of the day. I have to be real careful because it's also my "bread and butter" work machine. Again- thanks for the info.
