Logitech MX 5500 mouse - back/forward Firefox issue

I recently got this keyboard/mouse combo. Pretty slick, but I can't get Firefox to work with the back forward buttons. I tried adding the firefox.exe to the program list but its not working. I tried to assign it to back/forward and next/previous but no luck. Any ideas?
 
Jordan1, try to see if you can get forward/backward with other browsers and applications. If you absolutely cannot work it, then RMA the set immediately since I had that problem with the first set of MX5500 that I got.
 
With the MX5000 combo I had to set the buttons to "generic" in setpoint to get this functionality to work in firefox.
 
I just reinstalled the SetPoint software and it seems to be working fine now, even without changing any settings.
