My company has a business need for a CMS, but for mobile devices.
Right now, I'm tinkering with wordpress and some mobile themes and plugins... and I'm sort of getting it to do what I want with a few hours of tinkering.. however.. I don't think the average executive assistant even with a little training is going to be able to take a pre-configured setup and populate it.
The goal is that non-technical users be able to populate an intranet that will display properly on mobile devices. Not being a true intranet and it containing confidential information, I need to be able to secure it with at least a login and password, and SSL of course.
It either needs to be free/open source, or at least very cheap. I'm not hung up on a platform or language at the moment, but something PHP/MySQL based would be ideal so I can just run it off my existing LAMP sandboxes.
The intent is to give high level executives and directors an app-like portal for high level information.
