Hey guys,
I'm looking for a deal on a 15.4" widescreen laptop.
Do you know of any good deals online, or any stores in Orlando were i could get one?

without telling us what you are looking for it is impossible to make a recommendation, you could spend 500 dollars or even hit your 1300 dollar limit depending on your needs/wants

i would get a T61, nc8430, or a latitude d series...might be hard for 1300 but it can be done
 
If you are planning on light to moderate gaming, go for the HP nc8430.
 
gaming isnt really an issue, im going to use it for university, ive got a super beast at home.

the mose important things im looking for my system are:
7200rpm hdd
2gb 667 mhz ram

Yea, definetley an inconspicious laptop would do.

A Latitude, Thinkpad, or the HP nc8430 are perfect.
 
I've seen some $300 off dell inspirons coupons floating around for notebooks priced over $1299 so you could get a nice insp 1420 for $1300 w/ a good warranty to boot. Also check out the new dell Vostro notebooks under their small biz section.
 
I know you have $1300 to spend but if you want to save some cash you can always buy the RAM and HD from Newegg and put it in yourself........and especially if this is only to take to school for homework type projects then you could easily get a nice machine for your needs and only spend $800.......use the other $500 for a new GPU when Crysis comes out :p
 
Try Dell's or HP's outlets, but for the Thinkpad, I'm not really sure.
