Looking for screenshot software (freeware)

Title says it all, I’m looking for software to take in game screenshots; I know Fraps does it but I don’t feel like paying for fraps and don’t want to use .bmp format.

I know there was a thread recently, (last few weeks,) but I’ve had a hell of a time finding it.

Any help/direction is appreciated.

D'oh! Doesn't seem to play with Vista, any thoughts on a Vista, (specifically Vista64) based program/utility?

That's odd, you could try wipido Although it's free, it's still in beta. Will capture screenshots and video( with some minor quirks, hence beta)

The site itself is a good alternative for uploading game related content
