low profile exhaust fan

How low profile are you looking for, (is it the depth or thickness of the cooler that is the problem?)

I need it for an Optiplex GX620 that's overheating after I installed a PCI-E video card ... my choice is limited to something I can install on the PCI slot :(

This POS is the worst design by Dell so far ... no wonder they are losing money:mad:
 
here are is another that you might want to look into, (I haven't tried them yet but they seem to circulate a fair bit of air and people on the egg are happy with them.) According to the spec sheet you've got about 10.5 cm clearnace, (give or take a bit your total case height is sitting at 11.4 cm so that doesn't allow you a lot to play with. :(

you may also want to look into slapping some better case fans in there to improve circulation, something that pushes more CFM, the tradeoff though would be increased noise.
