I have a icore7 920 at 3.6 with hyperthreading on and the best i get is like 17,500ish. On review sites i see close to 27,000 points with a lower clocked 920. Im running the 32bit version, does that matter? I have DDR 3 1866 at 9,9,9,27. I have an after market cooler and my idle temp is 38C and load is about 68-70C. Anyone know why im getting low scores?? Sisoft Sandra is right on as is winrar. So, any info would be great!!

Where are you seeing 27000? Link?

Thats me at 4.5ghz on my 920.

edit: Google seems to say that 17500 is about on par for your clock speed?

Sounds about right to me, I have a Q9550 OCed to 3.8GHz and I am getting about 16650. 27000 for a lower clocked i7 seems a bit to good to be true.

The x64 Cinebench does indeed score higher than the 32bit. From my testing on the rig in my sig, the increase is around 20%. It might even scale more on your i7.

Im getting 19,300 at 4.0GHz, so im sure if it were 64 bit it would be higher. My D0 is amazing, 1.22V on the core gets me to 4GHz stable! Also have my ram running at 2,005 with 9-9-9-24 timings and i havent even learned how to overclock icore7's yet. My other C0/C1 needed 1.4V and wasnt to stable. All of this is on air with the geminii heatsink thats not even making full contact( i just ordered a thermalright axp 140 with the spring braket set for 1366). When the new heatsink comes and its making full contact, i will what she can really do. Im getting 29.5 MB/s bandwith in Sandra, compared to my q6600 G0 ay 3.6 with DDR2 1066 at 1200 i was only getting 8MB/s.....
