Low SLI performance, or about right?

I got my Core 2 Duo E6400 up to 3.2GHz with 1.45 vCore, the memory (2GB G.Skill) is at DDR2-800 4-4-4-12, and got the 7900GS cards (SLI) running at 590/1560. That's a decent stable overclock that I'm happy with. My benchies:

3DMark05 v1.20 - 14163
3DMark06 v1.10 - 7781

Do these seem a little low? They are about 50% higher than my A64 x2 3800 running at 2.4 GHz, 2GB DDR 3200, single 7900GT at 600/1600. 3dMark (online results) says there is only one system similar to mine and it can't make a good comparison. I've searched here and can't find a good similar setup to compare with either :(

I applied the patch for multi-core systems from Microsoft, used the default SLI profiles, default settings in 3dMark06... ran it through again with the SLI bar enabled to see that both cards were being taxed... I thought for sure I would break 8,000. Any hints?

My setup is pretty much the same (a little lower on the cpu oc and a little more on the gpu oc) and I get 9001 on 3dmark06.

What drivers are you running?

93.71, completely fresh install of XP except for all hotfixes and patches installed. Coolbits seems to be working properly for SLI from what I can tell. Do I need to modify the app profile for 3DMark or anything? Obviously I have AA and AF set to "app-controlled."
