Having just finished restoring my laptop to the factory default my first action was to go around collecting the newest drivers, updating the anti-virus, etc.
I provided the network encryption key for my wireless network and was able to connect to the internet with no problem.
About 2 minutes later a "One or more wireless networks are available" notice appeared. At the same time I lost my internet connection. This was never a problem before restoring to factory default. In addition, I have selected my home wireless network as the "preferred network", so it should be reconnecting automatically, not telling me that it found a network.
Has anyone else had/heard of this problem and know what I need to do to fix it?
