Hi everyone,
I'm looking into getting a large external hard drive, ~1tb - 1.5tb, and was wondering what the best way to format it is for use on both a mac and a pc. HFS+ is read/write only on a mac, and I don't think windows will ever be able to use it. FAT32 is too old and slow. Is NTFS my only option? How stable are the FUSE drivers on OS X?
PS. why isn't there some modern cross platform standard?
