Does MacBook run XP in emulation mode within OSX ?
How well does it run XP ? Compatibility level ?

Running bootcamp it runs exactly the same on any other hardware (that is the same).
Parallels I have not had much experience in so that I can not answer, but it allows you to run OSX & XP at the same time.

Bootcamp allows you to partition your HD (like partition magic) and install XP on the new partition. Also before you do this, it burns a CD with drivers for the hardware that the macbook has. XP installs just like normal. Then once that's finished you put the CD that you burned before in and install the stuff. And now you can boot in either Mac OS or XP. Runs just like normal I can assure you.

Parellels runs fine for most things. What are you planning to run in XP?

mostly intenet, office apps, photoshop, and light gaming.
I love Mac's look. So beautifull.

Yep, I'm seriously looking to get a MacBook, too. The last Mac I owned was a 190C laptop back in 1996.

There is no emulationg.

It's either literally running Windows on the laptop (since it's almost no different than any Dell/IBM) or it's virtualization through Parallels, VMWare, or QMU (or whatever... Xen I think as well).
