Not true. I bought a MadDog DVD player and CD/RW in August of 04 and got my rebate in November and depositied it with no problems. They even RMAed the drive when it stopped burning CDs (linked to something that was moving around in the drive that I could hear, could have been my fault). I got it back within a week of sending it out. Works perfectly to this day.

Why get a 30 USD PSU that will probably fail when you can get one that will hang around for awhile?
