Manualy importing a .sql file into mysql

Ok, I'm doing some work on a PHP-nuke site on a development server. As always, it's based on a mysql database. But when I go to import the file that we exported on the main server with phpmyadmin it times out, no matter what. I upped the max upload size (so that isn't an issue) and I don't know what else to do.

So what I want to know is there any way to manualy load the *.sql file (sites DB) into mysql from the command like or some other program?
