Memory for a notebook

well neither link worked for me, but from what i understand most chipsets(newer ones) should have a max of pc3200=ddr400. Even if you have slower modules, the new ones should be able to reach their full potential. Just take a look at the mb/chipset and by that you should be able to get the max limit for ram and stuff.
 
The modules you buy should run at your current bus speed, even if they are rated for faster. Just make sure not to buy DDR2 for a machine that should run DDR, and you are good.
