Coming up on my second build and was wondering how you guys approach a certain aspect of choosing memory.
I would pick a motherboard and chipset I want before I choose the Ram (some may have other wants) so after you have picked a motherboard, do you search out the manufacturer "recommended" or "Hey these posted on the first try" Ram or do you just go for the absolute highest speed and tightest stock timings???
I'm getting a sense as I write that I need to hit eclipses website again but I just thought I would ask. Memory is the ONE thing I really need to have more knowledge about, I essentially just asked some people what RAM to get for my first build (worked out very well.)
