Has anyone used this port of the original memtest. I like the fact they have a downloadable image for usbsticks.

Can't say I have.. but I dig the USB stick image. I'm gonna have to check it out
 
yeah, i've been using "memtest+" for a couple of years now. runs great, haven't had any issues with machines that i've tested it on.
 
Memtest86 is the best. I got some bad Kingston memory a couple of years ago. Memtest86 tested and found the problems. When I called Kingston to RMA it they asked me how I knew that it was defective memory. I told them I tested it with Memtest86. They said that is all they needed to know and issued me an RMA.

I am also blown away that memtest is included in the BIOS of my Biostar 6100 TForce mobo!
 
Mem test is a great tool. I use the one thats on the UBCD all the time.
