Messed up Start Menu

So in the windows XP start menu, at the upper left are buttons for Internet Explorer and your mail program (mine is Outlook 2003). When I click the button for e-mail (which says outlook underneath it) instead of loading outlook it loads Internet Properites!!! I don't use that button often, normally I use a keyboard shortcut. But the only thing I've installed recently are some windows updates (not SP2).

Any ideas?

Anybody else having this problem?
