Microsoft Wireless Optical Notebook Mouse$29.99-$19.99@Officemax

I have this mouse and it's totally kickass. Takes a single AA battery, receiver stows away nicely, and I've had it and used it for an average of 4 hours a day for 3 weeks and still haven't had to replace the battery (I think it came with a single Energizer).

Also, unlike all of MS' past mice, this one's scroll wheel actually clicks when you scroll with it. If you like switching weapons in games with the scroll wheel, there's no substitute for a tactile wheel.

Only thing I wish is that the receiver fit completely flush into the mouse, because as it is it sticks out a bit and it makes the mouse slide around a lot on a smooth surface. It means when I'm fumbling with my laptop and trying to get comfortable, the mouse will slide right onto the floor if I let it. Minor nitpick, though.
