Hey guys,

I have a couple of mobile processors that are laying around with a bunch of SoDIMM's. I was wondering if a mobile socket motherboard exists? I got a T9600 and a i540m that would be PERFECT for an HTPC.

Are they good for anything OTHER than just laptops?

I seem to recall hearing about adapters where you could convert the mobile processor to a regular socket, but I don't know any details about them.

i had a mobile 479 core2 in a AOpen "MODT" board... works great as an HTPC

have some other AOpen boards with Pentium M's on them, work great for little file servers and such
