mobo temp sensor vs. program temp sensor..?

Which is more accurate. For example. Mine have a difference of about 6 or 7 degrees. Asus probe will tell me that my cpu is running at like 40-42 c, and then i will reboot, and go into the bios, and it will be at 34c. Which is more inclined to be accurate?

It is pretty hit and miss for me. Pc probe is very accurate for me on my A8N sli deluxe. However on my P5LD2 it crashes and the new version doesnt support my board

I use Everest on it now. But I just dont like it, I need a heads up display
Just try them all. Although I have never had good luck with speedfan/mbm5 and such.
