Monitor Drivers

I was wondering if most people remove the old monitor drivers before installing a new monitor and drivers, or even if it needs to be done. I want to check out the new Soyo 24" monitor I picked up today at Office Max, but if I don't like it I'll return it, and go back to my old monitor. So I was thinking that if I liked it, I could remove the old monitor drivers then, and if I didn't like it, I wouldn't have to reinstall the old monitor drivers to switch back to the old monitor.

it won't make a huge dif if the driver is installed or not as long as the new lcd is at the native res when you test it. only thing it might do is install a color profile for the specific monitor which sometimes makes the colors look better.
