Monoprice Monitor Arm

I have 3 of these and they work well. They are solid units and have not caused any issues for the past year that I have had them. I would recommend them, especially for the price.

Hope this helps.

edit: I will mention that my desk was too thin and I had to add a bit of wood underneath so the clamp would hold, but I do not have exact measurements for the minimum thickness, but they had 'Maximum thickness of mounting surface for desk clamp, 2.25"' listed in the specs.

Great thanks. Yeah I have the Ikea Fredrik which is extremely thin, thanks for the heads up, I hadn't noticed that.

I'm not using a Monoprice arm, but I am using a Fredrik desk...go to The Home Depot or something and jack a loose cut block of wood about an inch thick. I'm using a 2x2x1" block and some nonslip fabric with my Sanus MD115, and it's reasonably stable with a 30" monitor (in fairness, though, I'm not using the arm at extension or anything).
