My opinion is the guy is an idiot. And a lazy idiot at that. Multi-player games don't require the effort,time,or creativity that single player games do,since most people just run through them trying to rack up kills.The game companies love them because they can crank them out quickly,but doing away with SP games would be the death of gaming to me.

he's wrong but has a point. You can argue about lack of creativity and such all you want, but fact of the matter is that multiplayer focused games like cod are the ones bringing in big bucks, so you can only expect that people would want a slice of that cake.

Hurray link-bait. He's not talking about multi-player games vs single-player games, he's talking about connected single-player experiences (a la Demon's Souls) and how in a few years time, that kind of experience will begin to start seeing some real progress.

Whether or not he's right about that, you seem to be attacking the man for an argument he didn't make.
